We love seeing your creativity and welcome design concepts made with AI tools (like OpenAI, ChatGPT, Midjourney, DALL-E, or Canva)!

However, because AI tools generate low-resolution web images rather than print-ready files, they require extra preparation to look good on clothing. Screen printing requires perfectly crisp lines and separated colors. To ensure your custom apparel turns out looking sharp, vibrant, and professional, we use the following guidelines:

1. File Submission Requirements

Raw AI image files (.JPG, .PNG, or web downloads) are treated as design concepts, not print-ready art.

• • To avoid extra fees: You must provide your final design as a high-resolution, fully scalable vector file (.AI, .EPS, or .SVG) with all fonts outlined.

• • High-resolution raster files (.PSD or .TIFF) must be built at 300 DPI at the actual requested print size.

2. Art Clean-Up & Vectorization Fees

If you submit a raw, unedited AI image, it requires manual recreation by our design team to make it printable.

• • A Graphic Setup Fee starting at $50 will be applied to your order. This covers vector tracing, separating the colors for our screens, and fixing common AI glitches (like distorted text or blurry edges).

• • Please note: For highly complex designs with intricate details or many colors, this fee may increase based on the extra design time required. We will always give you a firm quote before we begin work.

• • You will receive a final digital proof of the recreated artwork to approve before we print.

3. “Print As-Is” Quality Waiver

We want you to love your shirts! If you choose to skip our cleanup service and insist on printing a low-resolution AI file exactly as submitted:

• • Because screen printing relies on clean file inputs, we cannot be held responsible for pixelation, blurriness, or strange AI artifacts that show up on the final printed garment.

4. Copyright & Ownership

Current copyright laws generally do not protect raw, purely AI-generated images. By submitting an AI concept, you acknowledge that you hold the rights to use the concept and that our shop is simply contractually converting the file into a printable format for your order.
